The five-piece band stands out for its intimate vocals, captivating lyrics, and colourful instrumentation, and isn’t afraid to blend genres. They’ve gained touring experience not only in Czech and Slovak clubs but also through regular performances abroad.
Following the EP Strange Shaped Flowers, where they combine influences of folk and Americana, comes the more electronic EP Silver Thing and last year’s debut album Tell Me When You Pass The Sun. On their new album, they aim to blend the various styles they have explored on previous recordings and capture the energy of their current lineup.

Trnava-based punk artist Denis Bango has been making waves on the Slovak and Czech music scenes for several years now. Raw, honest lyrics and genre-hopping have been central to his work ever since the albums Zabijem sa! and Cigán. His latest album, Mrtvá revolúcia, brings him two steps closer to his long-term vision than his previous efforts. An experimental text titled Manifest mrtvé revolúcie was released alongside the album, which encapsulates the concept of the entire project and is freely available online. Denis performs live with members of the KVLT CREW—VKTRD, Paris, and, most recently, drummer Jakub Spiszak.

The work of Prague-based musician and director Karolina Beranová is ever-changing and richly diverse. Together with her band, she can captivate with passion and confidence while also moving audiences with fragility and sincerity. In the EP My Movies, where she reflects the life of a filmmaker, she invites us to become the main characters of our own story.

vgtbl.pl, a hyperpop-jazz-punk duo from Poland, combines surreal visuals with a global post-internet sound. Their debut album Vegetables Worldwide is a chaotic musical blend. Brazilian funk, gabber, smooth jazz, and punk energy collide and spin into something juicy, unpredictable, and alive.

They share a love of soccer and theater, and they make electro alternative hip-hop, even though only one of them grew up on hip-hop. They create independent music videos, organize concerts in bizarre venues, and raise money for Ukraine so they can once again give their friends nothing but their music for Christmas. Last year they released an album whose title suggests that, even in their prime, they’re already experiencing a midlife crisis.

The renowned Disco Scientist, known as Ventolin, was conceived in the mind of anthropologist David Doubek back in 2007. His high-energy show is brought to life by a diverse array of instruments, such as old samplers, analog synthesizers, and archaic drum machines. Ventolin is a lover of the primitive sound of Detroit techno, Italian disco, and an Indian disco style called “šrumbabumba” from the 1880s, played primarily by clapping one’s hands on a bald head.

This Berlin-based psychedelic band draws inspiration from Slavic and Celtic folklore.
Their live performances are intense, physical, and deeply immersive—drawing the audience into a shared trance of freedom and release. They tour throughout Europe and have performed twice at Glastonbury. Last year, they released the album *The Buzz*, filled with friendship, love, and the vibrant energy they spread around the world. They recorded it analog and live at their own Berlin studio, Sundown Studios.

Acid Row is a band that straddles the line between stoner rock and grunge, alternating between psychedelic passages and heavy riffs, as well as more straightforward, metal-influenced, or even punk-inspired moments. Since 2012, they’ve been on stage almost constantly—touring is a fundamental part of their existence. This is evident in their live performances, where high energy meets the band’s tight chemistry. In recent years, they’ve drawn attention with, among other things, their album *Poisoned Mind*, which won an Anděl Award.

Late evenings and early mornings outside the Garden gates belong to karaoke at the E Bar. Voda živá ("Living Water") and Křídla motýlí ("Butterfly Wings") have become annual favorites. This year, festivalgoers will also have the chance to sing along with Aneta Langerová in front of the stage during her live concert.

Alongside her best-known hits, Aneta will perform songs from the compilation Zázračná písně krajina – 20 LET ("The Miraculous Landscape of Songs – 20 Years"), a collection that reflects the breadth of her musical journey to date. Released as a 2-CD set to celebrate two decades on the Czech music scene, the anniversary project was accompanied by a live recording of her concert with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava and the Maranatha Gospel Choir at Prague's Lucerna, also released on a triple vinyl.

Having completed these celebrations, Aneta has entered a new chapter of her musical career. Together with her beloved bandmates, she continues to perform at festivals, celebrations, and concerts. Throughout her journey, she has never lost sight of who she is. On the contrary, her desire for authenticity has led her to become not only a singer and musician, but also a songwriter. For Aneta, the opportunity to communicate through music, share her emotions, and connect with people is a dream come true.

Markéta Janoušková - violin

The podium belongs to the violin in its purest form. Renowned Czech violinist Markéta Janoušková, appreciated for her velvety tone, technical virtuosity and original dramaturgy, will present a program that connects the music of three centuries - from the Baroque to the present. Markéta, as a soloist and chamber player, performs on prestigious stages throughout Europe and her interpretations are captivating with their ability to combine deep musicality with expressive immediacy.

Markéta Janoušková (violin)

Czech violinist Markéta Janoušková is recognized for her artistic versatility as a soloist and chamber musician. She regularly performs at leading international festivals and prestigious venues including the Berliner Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Konserthuset Stockholm, and Wigmore Hall, where she appears as a resident artist with the Smetana Trio.

An acclaimed recording artist, she has released the solo album L’Astre Bleu and participated in the complete recording of Miloslav Kabeláč’s violin works. Her collaborations include artists such as Josef Suk, Shlomo Mintz, Albrecht Mayer, and Charles Olivieri-Munroe.

A graduate of the Prague Conservatory, the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, the Chicago College of Performing Arts, and the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, she is also the founder and artistic director of the crossover project FolkloreClassic, connecting classical and folk music traditions.
